Fire Middle East conference postponed to November 2026

The Fire Middle East Conference, scheduled for April 2026 at Voco Hotel Riyadh, has been postponed to 30 November 2026 due to ongoing security challenges across the Middle East impacting travel safety.

The decision follows careful assessment of the current regional situation, which has created significant barriers for key sponsors, speakers, partners and the organising team to travel safely to Saudi Arabia.

Although a regional event serving primarily a Middle East audience, the conferences take a global perspective, with key sponsors, partners and speakers scheduled to travel from outside of the region. Disrupted airspace and heightened security risks for our international participants made proceeding untenable – safety and security must always remain our highest priority.

“Safety will always come first,” said Mike Dingle, Director of Fire Middle East Conference. “While we’re naturally disappointed to delay what would have been our strongest edition yet, this decision ensures we can deliver the high-calibre strategic dialogue and networking our region needs – when everyone can participate fully and safely. All bookings, sponsorships and speaking roles remain confirmed for November.”

The conference – now in its third edition – was set to welcome hundreds of senior fire leaders from across the region and beyond for high-level strategic discussions, direct policy dialogue to address Vision 2030 priorities, and unmatched networking with end-users, integrators and regulators. The November dates preserve the Riyadh venue, speaker roster and core format, ensuring the same value when everyone can attend safely.

If you’ve already registered for the event, then you will automatically be registered for the November edition and do not need to take any further action.

The event remain firmly positioned as the Middle East’s premier working forum where regional authorities, end-users and technology providers collaborate to raise safety standards across giga-projects, urban developments and more.
