- Abu Dhabi Civil Defense Authority has awarded a tender for seven firefighting aerial platforms from Bronto Skylift.
- The order includes one 60-metre F60XR aerial platform and six WFT water and foam towers in 40- and 56-metre configurations.
- Deliveries are scheduled for 2027, with Bronto Skylift working with UAE partner Bristol Fire Engineering Industries on the project.
The order comprises one 60-metre Bronto F60XR aerial platform and six WFT water and foam towers, configured for working heights of 40 and 56 metres.
The equipment will be supplied in cooperation with UAE-based Bronto partner Bristol Fire Engineering Industries, which will work with the Finnish manufacturer throughout the delivery and commissioning process.
The procurement adds to Abu Dhabi’s emergency response capabilities, providing the Civil Defense Authority with a combination of high-reach aerial platforms and water and foam firefighting equipment for operations involving tall or difficult-to-access structures.
The F60XR is part of Bronto Skylift’s F-XR range of aerial platforms, while the WFT range is designed for firefighting applications involving elevated water and foam delivery.
Bronto Skylift’s Sales Manager MEAI, Pauli Blomberg, said the company was “proud” to have been selected for the project, adding: “This tender reflects the strong confidence that customers place in Bronto solutions and our local support network.”
The seven units are expected to be delivered during 2027. The project further expands Bronto Skylift’s presence in the Middle East, where the company supplies truck-mounted aerial platforms for firefighting, rescue and industrial access applications.
